This new technology seems great, until it wont scan your check and you are forced to go into the branch to deposit it. This has happened with about 1/2 the checks I've tried to deposit over the last few weeks.
Chase's attempt to save $0.40 per deposit winds up costing you several times that amount in time waiting in line at the branch. I hope the get it right soon.

Thanks White Noise. I have made it to your link and I must say I am very pleased. Never been a fan of crickets but the radio and the ocean are a pleasant surprise to my ears. I know it sounds weird, but I think these noises really help calm me down! Thanks.

Its funny you should mention this Joe. Currently, there is a box of CD cases being stored for me at my parents house. I was bold enough back in college to get those giant black binder books that stored all my CD's (in alphabetical order 0f-course). I know I don't need those cases... But now... Out of site out of mind. My mom keeps asking me if she can throw it out, and I keep saying "let me come home and take a look at them before you toss them". This is a stalling method. I just can't let go of them just yet! And about my actual CD's. I love the collection. I love staring at the CD's themselves. They're so shiny, and round... and I'm laughing as I write this, but I just love to see how many I've collected in the years. (now that I'm reading this comment over, it might be time to start downloading to Itunes).

Joe! Sometimes you make me angry by making me see the light of 2010. I'm not a fan of change as you can tell, but i guess it's time.

Oh the clutter! I get so mad at game systems that just sit and collect dust. I sometimes say "I"m going to sell that on e-bay" but time passes and I get bothered by the process. I have to take a picture of it, I have to put it on e-bay, I have to watch the bids, and then I have to ship it! Sometimes the thought of all that just overwhelms me. All the time spent on worrying about getting rid of the system causes the system to stay on the dusty shelf. Any suggestions?

I have to say that finding the time to "relax" or ""meditate" is something I hear quite often as well. I however, have been listening to the most relaxing sound ever since I was 8 years old. THE VACUUM CLEANER! Laugh if you must, but the white noise it delivers happens to be the most amazing sound. I can use the hairdryer but the vacuum to me is the best. Before all these gadgets, I actually had to follow my mom around the room with a tape recorder and then dub a 60 sec recording to fit an entire tape. Talk about inconvenience. I guess what I'm getting at is that all of these meditation Gadgets make it so much easier to relax. I can hear ambient sounds and white noise on the 7 train instead of the crazy man yelling about some political cover up. I feel they definitely had me in mind when coming up with such gadgets. Thanks Joe.

The way you described your first experience with this ATM is exactly how it was for me. It was almost an hour ago and I am still jacked up on the adreneline!
I am saved from my own feeble arithmatic (that's even with a calculator)and i get a copy of the checks right out of the machine. Truly Awesome.
